Frequently Asked
Who can join?
Any motivated student — primarily high school and early university — from any country, school, or background. There are no grade requirements; curiosity and commitment matter more than credentials.
Does it cost anything?
No. Terra Reform is a non-commercial, student-led initiative. Joining and participating is completely free.
Do I need prior experience?
No. Many of our projects started with members learning the necessary skills along the way. If you already have experience in research, coding, design, or hardware — great — but willingness to learn is the only real requirement.
How much time does it take?
It depends on the project and the phase — competition deadlines are busier, other periods are relaxed. Most members contribute a few hours a week, scheduled around school. We plan around your availability, not the other way around.
Is it remote or in person?
Almost everything happens online, which is what makes international collaboration possible. Occasional in-person opportunities (competitions, events) depend on the project and where you live.
Can I propose my own project idea?
Absolutely — some of our best work started as a member's idea. If you have a concept that fits our mission, we'll help you develop it, find teammates, and target the right program or competition.
